Mentorship

Our Mentorship Program for New SLPs and Volunteers

Our Mentorship Program is designed to provide support, education, and guidance to new SLPs and Volunteers who join our team.

For New SLPs

Pairing with an experienced SLP (mentor), who understands the nuances of clinical practice.

Weekly meetings with your mentor to discuss your caseload, receive guidance on networking with other SLPs and professionals, and troubleshoot clinical challenges.

Ongoing support from your mentor and/or other SLP team members, as needed, through quick call backs.

Continuing education opportunities – learn from your colleagues and/or guest speakers on a bi-monthly basis to expand your knowledge base.

Social gatherings (either in-person, virtually or hybrid) for team building.

For Volunteers

Thorough training to understand speech and language delays/impairments, learn to provide valuable support to clients under the supervision of RSLPs, and learn to be a supportive communication partner to individuals with communication challenges.

Hands-on experience working alongside SLPs, helping to implement therapeutic activities and providing support during sessions.

Help to empower individuals with communication challenges and make a lasting impact in their lives.
