About Our Program
The Adult Intensive Stuttering Clinic is a comprehensive program offered through fluency-shaping techniques and cognitive-behavioural approaches.
Clients spend up to 100 hours working on fluency and communication skills through group activities that enhance confidence, positivity, and acceptance of the imperfections we all have.
Each cohort forms a friendly community to practice and develop skills in the clinic and learns to generalize them during group outings and special activities with invited friends and family. Scheduled for maximum use of evenings and weekends, the program only requires one week away from work or school.
BC residents ages 19 and over may be eligible for full funding for the intensive clinic on a “first come, first served” basis! Please visit the Fred Gingell Memorial Stuttering Treatment Grant page or contact us for more information.
Clients meet with a speech-language pathologist for follow up at 6 months, one- and two-years post-clinic to ensure maintenance. Additional refresher opportunities are available throughout the year for a fee (see “Refresher Opportunities”).
Schedule for Summer 2025
The first phase (August 1 – 10) will run for 9.5 consecutive days, including weekends, from approximately 9-5.
The second phase (August 22 – 24) is the “completer/refresher weekend” after clients have had 12 days to practice their skills on their own.

After The Clinic:
Refresher weekend is available to graduates of the Intensive Stuttering Program.
Prices
Total cost: $5500
$250 screening fee, payable at time of booking appointment*
*non-refundable but can be applied toward deposit
$1600 deposit, payable at time of registration*
*For grant recipients, this will be reimbursed after completion of the program
$3900 balance, payable by July 14th, 2025
*For grant recipients, the government to pay this portion directly.
