Mara is a speech-language pathologist with a particular passion for structured literacy intervention. She believes literacy has the power to unlock a child’s world, giving children greater access to their passions and interests, helping them engage more confidently across subjects at school, and creating new opportunities for learning, connection, and independence. She loves helping children build the foundational skills they need to explore what excites them and feel more confident navigating the world around them.
In addition to literacy intervention, Mara works in the areas of early intervention, parent coaching, and pediatric and adult speech and language disorders. She brings her love of literacy and language into all areas of her practice and enjoys using evidence-based approaches to help individuals and families reach their communication goals in ways that feel accessible, meaningful, and relevant to their everyday lives.
Mara is available for both in-person and virtual services.
