Alisa Ferdinandi

Areas of practice: Adult and pediatric brain injury rehabilitation, aphasia therapy, adult and pediatric speech / voice and articulation therapy (including Parkinson’s Disease).  Language and cognitive-language therapy including children with Autism.

Locations served: Vancouver, North/West Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford.

After 25 years as a consultant RSLP with Columbia, Alisa now serves as co-owner and co-director of Columbia Speech and Language Services, Inc., alongside Kathy Yoshida. With a career dedicated to community-based rehabilitation, Alisa has extensive experience supporting both adults and youth with communication challenges resulting from stroke or brain injury.

In recent years, Alisa has expanded her clinical focus to include speech and voice treatment for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, as well as language and social communication services for children with Autism. She is the lead clinician and driving force behind iTAWC—an intensive treatment program for individuals living with aphasia.

She continues to provide therapy in a variety of formats, including clinic-based, virtual, and in-home sessions.
