Michelle got her first taste of speech-language pathology through a high school co-op program where she shadowed a speech-language pathologist at a local health unit. She was deeply touched by the experiences she had there, and knew from then on that she wanted to dedicate her professional life to helping individuals overcome communication difficulties.
Michelle is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her clients and their family, providing treatment that focuses on increasing life participation, and continually growing in a profession that is so broad and diverse.
Michelle works part-time on the Columbia team as well as with the Surrey School District and is also currently leading our aphasia conversation group. She is available to see children and adults at their homes in the following regions: Surrey, Delta, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Langley, and throughout the Fraser Valley. She also sees clients at our Surrey office.
